The Journal of a European tourist

I have asked myself a few months and it seems super fun to tell you more about Africa. And especially East Africa. There lies my love, my passion! I feel at home in Africa and I love to be there. But over the years I was going to miss the Netherlands and especially family and friends. I have therefore taken the step in late 2009 and set up my own tour : Elephant Safaris . Elephant safaris is a tour company that has been around and doing custom made trips for over a decade . The word Safari in Kiswahili means means 'the trip'. Their Operations personell called Mr Nelson Mbeine takes great passion in organising the beautiful safari trips for other people.

The beginning of my love for Africa

In 2001 I first went to Africa. A journey of four months along with a friend from South Africa to Kenya and Uganda then I realized , here I want to be , the holiday I had in East Africa was totally memorable and mind boggling.Since then I've coached a lot of travel, hotels and campsites run , lived in different countries , traveled and learned a lot . I love being outside , the vastness, the peace , the smells, the colors, wildlife , camping, the language , the people ..
